It took the first week to sink in that I was really in this amazing place, on holiday, no kids and no stress for 2 weeks, all expenses paid!

People every where! every street was moving and full of colour, all my romantic imaginings of Europe fell way short of what I found there. We are so spoiled for space here.. Everywhere we went in Europe the rules of Personal space we Aussies Cling to went out the door.. Restaurants are elbow to elbow and the houses are so tightly packed next to each other that if one fell down the whole lot would go like a stack of dominoes.
The acceptance of the coffeshops in Amsterdam is just an example of the attitude here.. Do as You will and Harm None!
